Moisture Content

Virgin oils exhibit a certain percentage of moisture in the suspension of oil and should not exceed 0.2%.  If this test shows a higher result this can lead to storage problems and the source of the moisture should be determined.  Usually, the source of the moisture indicates a malfunctioning vertical separator.
